Newsletter #7 - 12/11/2009:

On Saturday night, Meeanee had their second night of racing and the team were all ready to go, there were only two small changes to the car as we were pretty happy after opening night, one being the rear tyre pressures and the other some fine tuning in the Engine.
With a huge crowd on hand for the Fireworks it was going to be a great night, there's nothing I like more than racing in front of a big crowd, I think it makes all the hours working on the cars worth it.

Newsletter #6 - 26/10/2009:

Opening night at Hawkes Bay has been and gone, the team and I had a busy week getting the car ready to go, things were looking on target until our sign writer no longer had time to do the car, I spent a long time going through the phone book looking for anybody to get the car done, I never knew there were so many sign writers in the Bay, all of which were too busy being HB show week etc, I had a few say they may be able to fit it in, but I needed someone to say yes, we can do it!

Newsletter #5 - 14/08/2009:

Well the season is fast approaching and it’s been some time since we did an update on here, my hat goes off to these guys who keep their sites so well updated, I don't know how they find the time. The Leonard race team is looking at a big season ahead, our two main sponsors from last season in Steve Jude Motors and NAC Insurance are back on board and this season we have also secured Macmillan Transport.

Newsletter #4 - 13/01/2009:

Well the North Island Champs are done and dusted, well done to all who made the meeting, great to catch up with so many of you, and it's really the people who make Stockcar racing what it is. Our Champs didn’t start off too well as on Thursday night I went to drive the car onto the trailer, pushed in the clutch and nothing happened, no clutch!

Newsletter #3 - 08/01/2009:

Well the last few weeks have been really busy, like most peoples I’d say. From the Leonard race team hope you have all had a great Xmas and New Year break. As for me I worked all thru the holiday period, with that and racing it's been all go. The car is back on song after a couple of meetings not going so good, these cars can sure test you when things are not going so well, but like all motorsport you have to tough out the bad days and work to get things right.

Newsletter #2 - 25/11/2008:

With a night of hard racing during meeting two there was lots of work to get done on the 94b car, the engine was out waiting for parts from Ozzy, the chassis had lots of cracks and bent bits, and every time I looked at the car I found more to fix! It was not looking too good for getting the car to the meeting being late Friday night and still no engine in the car. As always team sponsor Steve Jude stepped up, staying late in his workshop to get my engine back together...

Newsletter #1 - 18/11/2008:

With a hard season last year with a new car and an old driver we took some time to get it together, I had not been in a Stockcar for about five years and I did seem to forget how to make these cars go, but nearer the end of the season it all came together. With the team all ready to go this season we have our main sponsor, Steve Jude Motors, with new sponsor NAC Insurance coming on board, a bit of paint on the car and the team is off to opening night....
